Jim Avery opened the Fan Depot in 1988 after apprenticing for 10 years in the fan and lighting business. It began as a ceiling fan store and has evolved into a lighting store that carries fans and other home accessories. As such, in 2006 the name became Naples Lighting & Fan Depot to reflect the store's evolution.

Honest, friendly service, along with Top-Of-The-Line products have allowed our small family business to prosper and expand beyond our expectations. Our salespeople don’t work on commission, so their only concerns are to help you find exactly what you are looking for at a price that is always the lowest that you can find…Anywhere! Then, our in-house electrical installers will make sure that your installation goes perfectly. Having us install your lighting fixtures and fans is the only smart thing to do for several reasons:

• We offer a Free One-Year In-Home Warranty on all of the products that we install. If one of the items that we installed develops any problem, we will return to repair or replace it within the first year, Free of any service charge.
• We are experts at balancing fans; a fan that doesn’t wobble won’t make any noise.
• We are experts at installing lighting fixtures of all kinds, right down to the Lutron lighting controls that are best for your particular lights. And these are always on our trucks, of course.
• If an item arrives broken, incomplete, or if it functions improperly, we can act quickly to correct any issue. We have a huge inventory of parts and fans, so when an unexpected product issue arises during an installation, it is normally taken care of immediately.
